StartUp New Orleans

Opportunity

In March of 2008, Bond PR was tasked with assisting five successful, local business owners in the launch of StartUp New Orleans, a peer-to-peer entrepreneurial initiative designed to attract startups and new business to the City of New Orleans. To date, StartUp New Orleans’ members include some of the city’s most innovative entrepreneurs. The initiative has been highly successful, having attracted 6 new companies to New Orleans in less than one year. We assist these new businesses – operating in technology, fashion design, renewable energy, digital media and real estate development – by creating media opportunities and making introductions with local community and business leaders. With ongoing dialogues with several entrepreneurs and other business owners interested in New Orleans, StartUp New Orleans continues to have a positive impact on the development of the local economy.
