The campaign resulted in media coverage in the following trade publications: bylined articles and multiple commentary and product showcases in Home Fashion & Furniture Trends and Home Lighting & Accessories; Home Accents Today, HFN, HomeWorld Business, and Southern Woman. To help establish Karyl as a New Orleans-based designer, she and her designs have also been prominently featured throughout the New Orleans media.
Additionally, Karyl spoke on the 2007-2008 lighting trends in January 2007 at the Dallas Market Center’s annual Lighting Market, allowing for significant exposure and positioning her as an industry thought-leader. Karyl also presented on the trends at two American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) events – New York City and Plano, TX (her hometown).
